Who was the greatest influence in your life? How did they help you?

My greatest influence was my grandma, because of her stories of how hard things were back then. She made me want to work hard too. She wanted us to do better, and I didn’t want to disappoint her.

What are your responsibilities in your position?

My responsibilities include finding new business, building relationships, and managing business growth.

Knowing what you know now, what advice do you have for some one getting into this industry?

I’d tell you to know your strengths and surround yourself with other talented people that compliment your skills.

What personal qualities or abilities, are important for doing well in this kind of work?

It’s important to be a people person, ask questions, and really get into WHY customers are coming to you.

For you, what part of this job is most satisfying? Most challenging?

The most satisfying part of my job is learning about the industries we do projects for & expanding my understanding of how business works across all of the industries. The most challenging part is constantly educating customers on how digital works and why they need a website thats more of a tool for their business. I feel like theres not a lot of understanding among business owners on how digital works, it can really drive the growth of their business if they let it.

What app could you not live without?

I couldn’t live without Facebook.

Who was the greatest influence in your life? How did they help you?

My greatest influence has been my mom. My mother was a great roll model as a professional woman & showed me that i could do whatever i wanted. She worked very hard throughout my childhood to make sure i had many opportunities to succeed.

What are your responsibilities in your position?

My responsibilities include helping drive projects from discovery to design, managing development, and delivery/communication to clients.

Knowing what you know now, what advice do you have for some one getting into this industry?

Communication and good writing skills are key to any work environment. Whether verbal or via email/social media. Learn to write well so others know what you mean. “(Don’t be Donald Trump.)”

What personal qualities or abilities, are important for doing well in this kind of work?

It’s important to be a leader and be well organized, be able to communicate, and most importantly LISTEN to others.

For you, what part of this job is most satisfying? most challenging?

The most satisfying part of my job is my great team who laughs a lot. We enjoy helping our clients meet goals and be creative in the process. “We use our gifts to express their gifts.” The most challenging part is communicating the process of development. People focus on the end product and not what it takes to get there. They don’t understand the time and talent it takes to transform their ideas to the final product. The hardest part is trying to make them understand this.

What app could you not live without?

I couldn’t live without UPS.com because this app has considered what a user needs and not just what they THINK they need and they continue to surprise me. My sister sends me a package that i was unaware of. The app told me so i could arrange for pickup before my sister even told me. “its an awesome app i love it”

4th of July because I’m a fireworks freak and I know how to see at least 4-6 fireworks displays in 1 weekend.

Who was the greatest influence in your life? How did they help you?

It is impossible for me to pick just one person — My family has all shaped me in different ways by helping build my character. I got my confidence and optimism from my mother, my Integrity and diligence from my father, my strength and courage from my 3 brothers — and as a role model since I was little, my sister has continued to show me adventure and ambition.

What are your responsibilities in your position?

I manage primarily design projects by coordinating the communication between the client and the designers/ developers. I handle task management, am involved in the planning and QA process, and communicate with our clients on a daily basis.

Knowing what you know now, what advice do you have for some one getting into this industry?

Things are constantly changing in this industry — it is important to be versatile, to stay current on trends and to constantly bring new/innovative ideas with you to work.

What personal qualities or abilities, are important for doing well in this kind of work?

It’s important to understand time management, have diligence, versatility, and be an effective communicator.

For you, what part of this job is most satisfying? most challenging?

I am fascinated by design and like to think I have an eye for it. It’s always very satisfying when I get to collaborate with the designers and see the client vision come to life.

Amazon App — It makes spending all of my money even easier than the website!

I’d say to just be organized and focused on the task you have.

Seeing the end result and finishing projects is most satisfying. Most challenging is keeping everything organized and coming up with new ideas.

Who was the greatest influence in your life? How did they help you?

The greatest influences in my life are scientists that I’ve read about – they’re compassionate spiritual figures. I can’t choose just one. They taught me rationality, reason, compassion, and justice.

What are your responsibilities in your position?

My responsibilities include directing the developers and helping over come obstacles. I also plan software development, make sure things have a purpose, and make sure things go together.

Knowing what you know now, what advice do you have for some one getting into this industry?

Be ready to work harder than you thought, be passionate, and hold people (and yourself) accountable.

What personal qualities or abilities, are important for doing well in this kind of work?

I find it important to have intense curiosity, and understand dissatisfaction with mediocre solutions. Have a good ability to make analogies to explain to people better, and always have patience perseverance, and creativity.

For you, what part of this job is most satisfying? most challenging?

It’s most satisfying when people realize how effective and useful what we’ve made turns out to be for them, sometimes beyond their expectations and hopes. We love helping people we never knew we could help. The most challenging thing is managing time. Time never gives. Money can be moved priorities can change, but the clock never stops ticking.
